Fall 2019 - Spring 2020 Meal Plans

First-year, on-campus freshmen are defined as resident students (either Casas del Rio or UNM Housing (please note -- transferring out of either facility to Lobo Village during either the Fall or Spring semester does not negate the meal plan requirement.)) who have been required to attend New Student Orientation and include recent high school graduates (less than 10 months past graduation) with any college credits. These students have a minimum required purchase of a Lobo Plan, but may upgrade to the Silver Plan or the Cherry Plan , which offer the same all access meal plan along with a better value due to the substantial increase in dining dollars.

For upper classmen and commuter students, we offer the Dining Dollars and Community plans, in addition to the Unlimited Plans listed above. These plans, while not offering unlimited access to La Posada, do offer a convenient alternative for students whose schedules may have them close to one of the many retail outlets on campus. The Dining Dollars Plans allows for access to La Posada through complimentary meal swipes and value bonuses.

IMPORTANT! The deadline for Spring 2020 Semester meal plan changes is Tuesday, February 4th!

ALSO NOTE: A cancellation fee of $100 applies after Tuesday, February 4, 2020. Please refer to the UNM Meal Plan policies for more information.

Voluntary plans are valid for a full academic year. Charges for unlimited plans are assessed at the beginning of each semester, and voluntary unlimited plans may be canceled before the end of the change period for Spring semester.

La Posada Dining Dollar door rate (all day) - $6.50 + tax

The La Posada non-meal plan door rates at La Posada will be:

  • Breakfast - $7.50 + tax
  • Lunch - $9.50 + tax 
  • Dinner - $9.75 + tax
  • FRIDAY SPECIAL -- Door price for all meal periods - $6.75 + tax
