Introducing La Ventana, a thoughtful addition to our SUB locations opening in Fall of 2025. La Ventana is designed to enhance your campus dining experience and provide additional access to affordable meals for our campus community. Centrally located in the Student Union Building next to Mercado, it offers flavorful cuisine in a convenient setting right in the heart of central campus.
La Ventana is also included in the Unlimited La Po + as an extension of La Posada, giving Full Access Meal Plan holders unlimited visits to both La Posada Dining Hall and this second dining option. Our Community Meal Plan holders can also use their plan at this location via a Meal Exchange. Enjoy even more flexibility on campus and savor flavorful dishes like the Chile Relleno Burrito or Birria Ramen without ever leaving campus.
La Ventana isn’t just a new location; it’s a meaningful extension of the meal plan and our retail locations, adding real value and variety to life on campus.
Fare Share at La Ventana
La Ventana is introducing an innovative payment option called Fare Share. This option enables diners without a meal plan to purchase meals at La Ventana by either paying the suggested retail price or choosing an amount they feel is fair. This approach allows Lobos to pay what they can while enjoying a delicious meal. If you need to pay less, that's perfectly acceptable. If you'd like to pay it forward with a little extra, that’s wonderful too! Net proceeds from cash or credit card sales at La Ventana will be donated to the Campus Lobo Food Pantry to further support our campus community.
*Please note: Full Access Meal Plans are subject to a 30-minute timeout between uses. Limit one menu item per guest, per transaction at La Ventana when using Unlimited La Po+.
